by Natalie Anderson, age 12, from US

Do not judge me by my religion
and do not judge me by my face

Look beyond clothes and hair
And you may start to learn

Past the way I talk
Or even how I fall

Do not judge me by silly standards
Look Closer

If you have looked closely,
You should see the real me

A child you will see
Scared, hurt and exasperated at times

Emotions being stored away
Words Inside

Still look deeper,
And you may start to understand me
