Little Sister

by Dashundra Myrick, age 14, from US

Girl you may not be my sister from my mother, but you are my sister in God's eyes.

You are beautiful inside and out and I will take care of you.

I will give you the talks that you need.

I will take care of you, you'll see.

Don't worry about what those fast girls on the street say.

You are not here to please them anyway.

I won't let anyone mess up your face with blisters, because you're my little sister.

You are my sister that no one can see, but the Father Lord, you and me.
