KITE

EASY TO MAKE KITE!

THINGS YOU'LL NEED:

8 1/2" X 11" sheet of paper (or larger)
Stapler
Tape
Lightweight string or yarn
Paint, Markers, Crayons... something to decorate your kite

CRAFT TIP: You can decorate your kite before, or after you make it. For an extra special kite, use glitter paint on colored paper.

Fold 1

Fold the paper in half

Fold 2

Turn one side of the paper down, in a curve. Staple it to the center fold.

Fold 3

Turn the other side down the opposite way. Staple it to the center fold.

Fold 4

Put a piece of strong tape on the center of the kite, approx 3" from the tip. Punch a hole in the tape.

Finished kite

Tie a string or yarn through the hole... You have a quick kite, perfect for light winds.
