Later that night we had to meet and rehearse our songs. When we were done it was about 9:30 p.m. and we went out to dinner because most of us, including me, thought that the plane food was disgusting and we were hungry. The dinner I had was very good--one of the best meals I had the entire trip.

The next morning we met again for another rehearsal. When it was over, we went to our rooms to get ready for the performance. I had to have my costume ironed. Then I put it on along with some make-up. When everyone was ready, we walked to the White House.
